Serving Our Neighbors

If anyone is poor among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward them. Rather, be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need. — Deuteronomy 15:7-8

Volunteers needed Wednesday's 1:30 PM

Every Wednesday we gather to assemble a meal for our neighbors in need.   We take these meals to those who are living in the local encampments surrounding the church.  We also hand out socks, blankets, coats, clothes, personal hygiene items and other items that are needed when you are not housed.

If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. — 1 John 3:17
Our mission is to serve those in our community that are often set aside or overlooked.  These people are the most marginalized in our society.  Through the meals we serve we are showing them Christ's love.  We are letting know they are seen and loved.  We have two teams that deliver over 100 meals each week to the homeless in our community.  Are you interested in helping out?  We need people to make sandwiches, stuff bags, purchase food, and deliver the meals.  If you are can help in anyway, please fill out the form below.
